The Budapest Research Group on Constitutional Theory was established by the Institute for Legal Studies of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the Andrássy University Budapest, Faculty of Comparative Law and Governance. This forum shall provide discourse between constitutional scholars as well as political and social scientists working in Hungary. The principal objective of the research group is the presentation of books and papers by international scholars as well as by members of the research group.
The Research Group meets, as appropriate, on a monthly basis. In order to promote a stimulating discussion and the exchange of a multitude of ideas, external researchers and postgraduate students are equally invited to participate in the debate. The topics of future meetings are determined by the group members to ensure the consideration of issues, which are both timely and of general interest. The meetings of the group are held in English and German.
